Adult Confirmation Ministry

Adult Confirmation Ministry engages and informs adults who are seeking the sacrament of Confirmation in the Roman Catholic Church. Classes provide the foundational teachings of the Catholic Church and prepare adults to make a Profession of Faith.

Adult Confirmation Preparation sessions are designed for those individuals 16 years and older who have been baptized Catholic and would like to complete their initiation into the Catholic church and complete their sacraments.

These sessions are also intended for those individuals who have been baptized in a non-Catholic faith, who have been attending and participating in the Catholic church.

These 6-week sessions are held three times per year and cover key foundational topics about the Catholic faith. The class setting is informal, and questions are encouraged. Class materials are provided, including a syllabus, didactic materials, a Catholic Bible, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The Sacraments of Reconciliation and Confirmation are offered at the end of these 6-week sessions.

Divine Mercy Prayer Group

The prayer group meets on the first, second, and third Wednesday of the month. During the two hours, they sing hymns, pray the rosary, prayers of petitions and thanksgiving, follow by readings from the Divine Mercy Diary and scripture. They end with the Divine Mercy Chaplet & Our Lady of Fatima hymn.

The Divine Mercy Ministry sponsors the monthly “Rosary Makers” meeting. Members welcome everyone to join them as they work together to supply missionaries with beautiful symbols of the Lord’s divine presence.

Rosary Makers – Meet on the 4th Wednesday of the Month

Bible Study

St Jerome – Speaking of Holy Scripture

“The Scriptures are shallow enough, for a babe to come and drink, without fear of drowning
and deep enough, for theologians to swim in, without ever reaching the bottom.”

The Faith Formation Ministry offers 6-10 week-long Bible Study programs. The course of study is drawn from the Lectionary Scripture Readings, the Liturgical Year cycle, and/or examines the biblical events of the  Liturgical Seasons.  These Bible Studies are intended for beginner and intermediate students who desire to read and study the Bible, but do not  know where to start. This Study will use the Catholic Bible and the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

See the weekly Bulletin and Our Lady of Fatima Website for upcoming Bible Studies.
