Rosary Makers and Divine Mercy Prayer Group

The Divine Mercy Prayer Group meets on the first three Wednesdays of each month to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet.

The Divine Mercy Ministry members teach people to make rosaries to be freely distributed to missionaries around the world. Dedicated members spread devotion through the Immaculate Heart of Mary by making and sharing the rosary with the world’s spiritually needy. As they create beautiful rosaries, they teach and recite the Divine Mercy Prayer and the Rosary devotion. The Rosary Makers meet on the fourth (and fifth) Wednesdays of each month.

Their vision is a world in which all God’s children possess a rosary, the instrument of peace and comfort, to fulfill Our Lady’s requests at Fatima to pray the Rosary every day for the peace of the world.

Patriotic Rosary Group

This group meets every Thursday afternoon at 1:00 PM in the chapel, which is located in the church building. They recite the rosary for our country.

There is no need to register for this ministry. Simply show up at the designated time with your rosary beads. If you need rosary beads, there are several located in the main church on the table near the door.

Rosary Pray-ers (Before Mass)

The Rosary Pray-er Ministry promotes the devotion of the rosary by leading the congregation in reciting the rosary as they are gathered for Mass. They lead the rosary prior to every weekday 8:00 AM Mass, as well as, prior to the 4:00 PM Saturday Vigil Mass and the 7:30 AM Sunday Mass.

This ministry is open to all parishioners who desire to lead the rosary at the specified times.

There are no regularly scheduled meetings.

The Ministry leader trains those who lead the praying of rosary before or after Mass. No certification, no background checks, nor Safe Environment training are required

Seven Sisters Apostolate

A call to strengthen the Church by ensuring that a Holy Hour is prayed each day of the week for the sole intention of a specific priest or bishop—a “holy wasting” (cf. Mt. 26:10) or lavishing of prayer for his deeper conformity to Christ.

The leader of the apostolate will meet with each new member to explain the apostolate and review the guidelines and prayers utilized.

Respect Life Ministry

This group meets monthly and is dedicated to transforming today’s culture of death into a culture of life. Pope John Paul II’s encyclical, The Gospel of Life, provides hope and inspiration of the promotion of respect for all life, from fertilization to natural death.

Teens for Life meets one Sunday a month. Teens for Life is in service to our Church and community. This Youth Ministry supports life from conception to natural death. It is open to all ages; learning by doing. They have several events throughout the year which focus on various aspects of respecting life.

Interested parishioners must be enthusiastic about sharing their faith experiences with teens. All volunteers must be fingerprinted and complete a Level II background screening. They also must complete the Diocesan Safe Environment Training.
