“Confession is an act of honesty and courage – an act of entrusting ourselves, beyond sin, to the mercy of a loving and forgiving God”.
Saint Pope John Paul II
The Sacrament of Reconciliation or Confession is also called the Sacrament of Penance. It is a sacrament of healing and peace. It is the opportunity for spiritual healing and absolution when we have become distanced from God by our sins. Through this sacrament, we are restored to right relationship with God.
Reconciliation is available in the Sanctuary Saturday 2:30-3:30 pm.
There are occasions when a person needs to see the priest outside of the weekly scheduled confession time.
In this instance, please call the Parish Office and the priest will schedule an appointment for confession at the earliest open time.
Please remember the priest has many duties providing pastoral services to the hospital, homebound, and regularly scheduled Masses and administering the Sacraments.
