The following services are available in Citrus County:

Counseling Referrals: Mental health professionals provide individual, marriage, family and group counseling services to those experiencing a broad range of personal, relationship and family problems.

Respite Program: The Respite Care Program is designed to meet the growing needs of the elderly population in Citrus County. Staff and trained volunteers provide center-based respite to early stage Alzheimer’s and other memory loss clients and their caregivers. Catholic Charities Respite Mini Adult Day Care operates four hours every Wednesday at Our Lady of Grace Church in Beverly Hills. The program also provides caregiver support services and training and technical assistance to groups seeking to develop caregiver programs.

The following services are available in Citrus County through our Community Collaborator agencies at the Atlas Drive location :

Access Florida DCF: EBT Food stamp sign up and follow-up assistance.

We care Food Pantry: Food Pantry food distribution for the indigent of Homosassa.

Pregnancy and Family Life Center: Providing financial and counseling services to mothers and families.

Adoption: Services provided to birth parents facing an untimely pregnancy and considering adoption planning include pregnancy counseling, medical and living expenses, and post-adoption counseling and support. For couples wishing to build their family through adoption, home studies and post-placement supervision is provided.  Search services for persons interested in reunification with their children or natural parents are available to adoptees and families placed through Catholic Charities’ Adoption program. Appointments and services are available days, evenings and weekends.
 
Project Rachel: Trained priests, lay support individuals and mental health professionals offer healing and reconciliation services to families and individuals affected by the aftermath of an abortion. Services include a weekend retreat, which offers emotional and spiritual support and assistance in working through repressed grief and anger, and a support group that addresses guilt, grief, anger, relationships and healing. Retreats and support groups are available evenings and weekends.
